A teenager has been dubbed ‘Sleeping Beauty’ because of a rare illness that has seen her fall into a slumber for up to two months.
Sharik Tovar, 17, suffers from Kleine-Levin syndrome and often loses her memory after the sleeping episodes.
She lives with her mother Marleny Tovar, who liquefies all her food and feeds her every two hours.
Only around 40 cases have been reported around the world, it is understood.
